Imposing structures of stone that lack windows of any kind, most "Roofless Folk" (as the Dwarves call surface dwellers) are awed by the sheer size and scope of Dwarf Holds. Thurin's Sons have only built structures above ground since the Turning, but their staunch adherence to tradition ensures that the interior of a surface hold is identical to the ancient delvings the Dwarves built of old in the deeps.
